radius of convergence

Show Summary Details

Quick Reference

If R is the largest real number for which the power series converges for all z satisfying |z|≤R, then R is the radius of convergence for that power series. If the power series is of a real variable x, then this condition generates an interval on the real line, but the term ‘radius of convergence’ is still used.
