English master-mason. He appears to have designed the west front of York Minster including the great west window (1338–9) in the Curvilinear style of Second Pointed Gothic. He may have designed, or influenced the design of, the east front of Carlisle Cathedral (1318–22), the reredos at Beverley Minster, Yorks. (1324–34), the east window of Selby Abbey, Yorks. (begun c.1330), the pulpitum at Southwell Minster, Notts., and the south rose-window at Lincoln Cathedral.
