Italian dancer, choreographer, and ballet master. He studied with Francesco Sedini after which he danced with F. Taglioni and S. Gallet in Vienna. He was renowned for his parody of Duport in Flore et Zéphire. He later taught in Prague (1840–6) and his own account of his experiences in the dancing profession is preserved in Vienna's Municipal Library.
