Danish dancer, teacher, and choreographer. He studied at the Royal Danish Ballet School and graduated into the Royal Danish Ballet in 1927, becoming soloist (principal) 1933, and first soloist (1942–57). He was Margot Lander's regular partner and was specially admired in Petrushka and Napoli. He became an instructor with the RDB in 1934 and later teacher at the RDB School and also choreographed several ballets, such as Widow in the Mirror (mus. B. Christensen, 1934), most of which starred his wife, Kirsten Ralov.
