random vector

Show Summary Details

Quick Reference

An ordered set of n random variables, often representing the outcomes of a repeated experiment. For example, if I throw a die four times the outcome of the experiment could be described by the vector (x1, x2, x3, x4) where each xi is a uniform distribution on the set (1, 2,…, 6). If I score 5, then 2, then 5, then 6, the observed outcome would be recorded as (5, 2, 5, 6).
