(c.1510–1558), Welsh mathematician and physician, born in Tenby and educated at Oxford (BA 1531) and Cambridge (MD 1545). His medical treatise The Urinal of Physic was published in 1547, at which time he was practising as a physician in London. From 1551 to 1553 he was surveyor of the mines and monies of Ireland.
