Quick Reference

From 1523, Redman printed (at various addresses all named ‘The George’) over 200 works, mainly legal, in competition with Pynson. Like J. Rastell, he was a thorough editor. He left the main part of his business to his widow, Elisabeth Pickering, who reprinted some of his publications under her own name.
