(orig. Russ. title Krasny vikhr)
Ballet in two ‘Processes’ with choreography by Lopukhov, music by V. Deshenov, and design by K. Tshupiatov. Premiered 29 Oct. 1924 by GATOB, Leningrad, with Victor Semenov and Gerdt. Its fusion of speech, song, acrobatics, and dance was conceived as an allegory of the events of the October Revolution. It was attacked as an example of Proletkult (Proletarian Culture) and only performed twice.
