Italian architect. He realized Barabino's designs (before 1825) for the Cimitero di Staglieno, Genoa (1844–61—one of the most spectacular cemeteries in the world), and was responsible for the final appearance of many of the fine Neo-Classical buildings there, including the Rotunda with its low Pantheon-like dome.
