(d. 1534), Spanish architect who served as cathedral architect in Seville, where he designed and built the chapter house and sacristy; he also designed the elaborately decorated Seville Town Hall, which was constructed after his death according to his plans (1534–72). He is regarded as the most important exponent of the Renaissance-Plateresque style in Andalusia.
