Marcelo (1908–64), Milton (1914–53), and Mauricio (1921–97) were Brazilian architects, much influenced by Le Corbusier. Their Brazilian Press Association building (1935–6) made their reputation. Their designs have been successful in controlling the intense sunlight of Brazil, notably in their Seguradores Office Building, Rio de Janeiro (1949).
