Another name for the Repertory Grid Test when the elements presented to the respondent are role titles such as A teacher you liked, Your mother, A neighbour with whom you get along well, and so on. Its inventor, the US psychologist George A(lexander) Kelly (1905–66), listed 24 role titles, including the three quoted here, in the original publication of the test in his book The Psychology of Personal Constructs (1955, Vol. 1, pp. 221–2).
