A Kashmiri Śaiva Siddhānta theologian. Works attributed to him include the Mokṣakārikā, the Nareśvaraparīkṣa, and the Paramokṣanirāsakārikā. Against the non-dualism of the Pratyabhijñā School, he argues forcibly for the separation of the individual self from Śiva and the material world.
