British violinist, composer, and conductor. He was music director of Ballet Rambert (1966–72), principal conductor of Scottish Theatre Ballet (1972–4), and conductor of New London Ballet in 1974. He composed the scores for eight ballets, including Howard's The Fugitive (1944) and Mardi Gras (1946), J. Carter's The Witch Boy (1956), and Morrice's Hazard (1967).
