(Skt., Samantabhadra-praṇidhāna). The ten resolutions and practices of the Bodhisattva Samantabhadra described in detail in chapter 56 of the Gaṇḍavyūha Sūtra. These are: homage, praise, and offerings to all Buddhas.the confession (pāpa-deśanā) and repentance of all one's wrongdoing, joy at the attainments of others, the request to the Buddha to teach the Dharma and to remain in the world, application to the Buddha's teachings at all times, the benefiting of all beings in ways suitable to their needs, and the transference of one's merit (puṇya) to all beings.
