(c.1757–1839), lawyer. Born in Belfast, Saurin became MP for Blessington, Co. Wicklow, in 1799 and opposed the Act of Union. Noted for his anti-Catholic views, he served as attorney-general from 1807 until removed in 1822 at the insistence of Wellesley.
