Is work that is performed, and can only be performed, at a certain period of the year. Examples would include summer work at tourist resorts, harvesting of crops in the autumn, and work to cope with the seasonal rise in consumer spending at Christmas. Because of its temporary nature, seasonal work is often casual work performed by temporary workers or agency labour.
