Daughter of William, twin of Hamnet; baptized 2 February 1585; married a vintner, Thomas Quiney, 10 February 1616. On 26 March, her husband was prosecuted for fornication with Margaret Wheeler, who had died that month along with her baby by Quiney. He confessed, and was sentenced to perform public penance; but this penalty was remitted. This event seems to have caused Shakespeare to alter his will.
Judith and Thomas had three sons, Shakespeare, who died in infancy, and Richard and Thomas, who both died in 1639, aged 21 and 19. Their father lived till at least 1655. Judith died in 1662, aged 77, and was buried in Stratford-upon-Avon.
