Quick Reference

A simple exercise to develop abductor muscles on the outer hip and thigh.

▪ Lie on your right side. Keeping your legs straight and facing forwards, raise your left leg a few centimetres. Hold the raised position for a few seconds then slowly return to the starting position. Repeat on the other side. Take care to avoid rolling forwards or backwards, and, during the raise, ensure your hips continue to face forwards.
