Quick Reference

The six undisputed signatures are on a deposition in the Belott-Mountjoy suit (11 May 1612), on a conveyance of the Blackfriars Gatehouse (10 March 1613), on the mortgage of the Blackfriars Gatehouse (11 March 1613), and on the three sheets of the will (25 March 1616). There are many forgeries, and a few other signatures that may be genuine, including one in a copy of Florio's translation of Montaigne in the British Library, and one in William Lambarde's Archaionomia (1568) in the Folger Library.
