A measure of the symmetry of a frequency distribution. If frequent scores are clustered at the lower end of the distribution and the tail points towards the higher scores, this is a positive skew. Conversely, if the frequent scores cluster at the higher end of the distribution and the tail points to the lower scores, this is a negative skew.
