English mason. He was in charge of the works at Kenilworth Castle, Warwicks., from 1391, including the great hall, towers, and state apartments. He probably designed the choir of St Mary's Collegiate Church, Warwick (1381–96), and the tower of St Michael's Church, Coventry (1373–94). From 1397 to 1400 he was in charge of the College of St Mary in the Newark, Leicester, and in 1400 was master-mason at Tutbury Castle, Staffs., where he built a new tower and part of the curtain-wall.
