Family of small, convex, shiny beetles, in which the terminal abdominal segment is exposed. The antennae have three-segmented clubs. They are distinguishable from the closely related Histeridae by the absence of elbowed antennae. Adults are associated with fungi, but little is known of their life history. There are three species.
