spin network

Show Summary Details

Quick Reference

A quantum theory of space–time, first suggested by Roger Penrose in the 1960s, that classical space–time emerges from a network that is like a polymer network in rubber. The spin network picture has re-emerged from work on quantum gravity in the 1990s. There is presently no conclusive observational or experimental evidence for spin networks.
