Show Summary Details

Quick Reference

The notion that exercising a specific area of the body reduces the fat content in that area. This is incorrect. Exercising one arm, fur example, may result in that arm becoming more muscular, but it will have the same fat content as the unexercised arm. Exercise draws fat from stores throughout the body, not from one specific site.
