Keenness or sharpness of stereopsis, measured by the subtended angle corresponding to the minimum binocular disparity sufficient to produce a sensation of depth. Under good viewing conditions, stereoscopic acuities corresponding to visual angles in the region of 2 seconds of arc, equivalent to 1/1,800 of a degree, have been found. Also called stereoacuity. See also acuity.
