Chrismann, later enlarged to 4 manuals, 103 registers, and 7,343 pipes. Bruckner was born near St Florian, was a choirboy there and was taught mus. by the monks. Org. there 1848–56. Often revisited St Florian and is buried there. Org. known as ‘Bruckner Organ’.
