Part of the anterior triangle of the neck, also known as the suprahyoid triangle. It is bounded posteriorly by the anterior belly of the digastric muscle, anteriorly by the midline of the neck between the mandible and the hyoid bone, and inferiorly by the body of the hyoid bone. The triangle contains the submental lymph nodes.
