Polish architects. They rebuilt (1947–8) the Śleszyńskich Palace, Warsaw, after its destruction in the 1939–45 war. They were better-known, however, for their International Modernist buildings of which may be mentioned the apartment-block, Ul. Waleczynch (1930—with exaggerated ‘functionalist imagery’), and various housing estates (e.g. Osiedle Koło WSM (1947–56), Osiedle Praga I (1948–52), and Osiedle Rakowiec (1931–6—with others), etc.).
