Ethnic group of north Central Africa.

The Tama primarily inhabit eastern Chad and western Sudan, mainly in northern Darfur, but not directly targeted by the Janjaweed attacks. They speak a Nilo-Saharan language. Approximately 200,000 people consider themselves Tama.
