Quick Reference

[Si]

Coastal region of Bohuslän which contains a major concentration of Bronze Age rock‐art sites. The panels are mainly on glacially smoothed rock surfaces and include depictions of ships, ploughing scenes, warriors armed with spears and battle‐axes, carts, and possibly sun discs. Ships with fighting warriors standing within them and numerous oars for propulsion are especially distinctive.
