Argentinian architect, born in Italy. He designed the Civic Centre and Bus Station, Santa Rosa, La Pampa (1955–63), the first essay in Brutalism in Argentina. Other works include the Bank of London and South America (1959–66), the National Library (1962–84), and the Bank of Holland (1970–5), all in Buenos Aires. His work was firmly in the International Modernist style.
