Byzantine exegete. About 1090 he was made Abp. of Ohrid in the country of the Bulgarians. His main work is a series of commentaries on several OT Books and the whole of the NT except Rev. They are lucid in thought and expression and closely follow the text, while at the same time insisting on practical morality.
