American architect, one of the founders (1945) of TAC (with Gropius and others). Involved in urban renewal projects, he designed the Faneuil Hall Market Place, Boston, MA (1978). Other works included developments in Cambridge, MA (1969), the Harborplace, Baltimore, MD (1980), Fulton's Landing, Brooklyn, NYC (1982–4), and the US Embassy, Ottawa, Canada (1982–4).
