1. TRAM1 (thyroid hormone receptor activator molecule 1) is a nuclear receptor coactivator (NCOA3, steroid receptor coactivator-3) that binds nuclear receptors in a hormone-dependent fashion. NCOA3 recruits two other nuclear factors, CBP (CREB binding protein) and PCAF (p300/CBP-associated factor), into a multisubunit complex that stimulates transcription.
