Overview

transmembrane adaptor proteins

Show Summary Details

Quick Reference

A family of proteins (TRAPS) that share several common structural features, in particular multiple sites for tyrosine phosphorylation in their cytoplasmic tails. Examples include linker for activation of T cells (LAT), low-density lipoprotein receptor adaptor protein 1, the phosphoprotein associated with glycosphingolipid-enriched microdomains (PAG)/C-terminal src kinase (Csk) binding protein (Cbp), SHP2-interacting transmembrane adaptor protein (SIT), T-cell receptor interacting molecule (TRIM), non-T-cell activation linker (NTAL), and pp30.
