Modern dance work in one act with choreography by Robert North, music by Bob Downes and Batucada (Brazilian), and costumes by Peter Farmer. Premiered 3 Oct. 1974 by London Contemporary Dance Theatre at the Royal Court Theatre in Liverpool. A comic, bravura work for men, it parodies extremes of muscle-bound machismo. It has been revived for several companies including Dance Theatre of Harlem, the Royal Ballet, Scottish Ballet, Tulsa Ballet, and Sarasota Ballet.
