Quick Reference

The law which describes the fundamental elements along or about which a crystal is twinned, in terms of a twin plane or twin axis. The various geometric shapes which result from crystal twinning may also be described with reference to well-known examples, e.g. orthoclase feldspar may be twinned on the Carlsbad law and/or the Baveno law.
