A form of behaviour characterized by a high level of aggression, competition, drive, time urgency, and vigorous voice stylistics. Type A behaviour has been linked with increased risk of coronary heart disease. However, it may be possible to alter type A behaviour patterns by taking aerobic exercise so that the risk of heart disease is reduced. Compare type B behaviour.
