Tzatziki is a refreshing dip, popular in the eastern Mediterranean, made from yoghurt, chopped cucumber, and garlic. The Greek version (with which British eaters have become familiar) is usually flavoured with mint. In Turkey, where the word is spelled cacik, dill is used.
