The profession of faith which is the doctrinal basis of the Old Catholic Church. It was drawn up at Utrecht in 1889. While professing adherence to the beliefs of the primitive Church, it is mainly concerned with controverting specific doctrines of the RC Church, including the decrees on the Papacy of the First Vatican Council, the dogma of the Immaculate Conception of the BVM, and the Syllabus Errorum.
