A form of the Goddess manifested in a cave rock formation with three heads (piṇḍas) near the town of Katra in the Himālayan foothills of Jammu and Kashmir. An immensely popular tīrtha, it is claimed to be the second most visited pilgrimage site in India (after Tirupati). The site is also said to be a śāktipīṭha.
