Method of obtaining the resultant vector of two or more component vectors that are in the same plane. The vectors are all represented by arrows. The tail of each successive vector is placed on the tip of the previous vector, and the resultant vector is drawn with its tail on the tail of the first vector, and its tip on the tip of the last vector.
