An epithet of Śiva. Notable temples dedicated to the deity in this form can be found at Paṭṭadakal, and Hampī (Vijayanagara), where, as the guardian deity of the Vijayanagara dynasty, he was married to Pampā(devī), a local river goddess, and so is also known as Pampāpati (‘Pampā's lord').
