A Dharmaśāstra text in 100 chapters which, in an early form, may have belonged to the Kāṭhaka Saṃhitā of the Black Yajur Veda. Much of its material appears to be drawn from other texts, such as Manusmṛti. Framing chapters put its teaching into the mouth of Viṣṇu's varāha avatāra. It was the subject of an important 17th-century ce commentary (Vaijayantī) by Nandapaṇḍita.
