pamphleteer and a leader of the Leveller movement. He was imprisoned in 1649 with Lilburne, Overton, and T. Prince as one of the authors of England's New Chains Discovered, and was accused of communism and atheism. He was released later that year, after the publication of Walwyn's Just Defence.
