Quick Reference

(date unknown).

He was a Celtic monastic saint, possibly connected with Dyfrig. He is the patron of St Weonards (near Hereford) and probably of Llanwenarth (Gwent). He was depicted in a stained-glass window (now lost) of St Weonards church as a bearded old man holding a book in one hand and an axe in the other and described as S. Wenardus Heremyta. There is no known feast.
