Quick Reference

Warner became keeper of the Department of MSS at the British Museum (seebritish library), producing important editions of Mandeville's Travels (1889) and the Libelle of Englyshe Polycye (1926), as well as numerous MS facsimiles, particularly for the Roxburghe Club. He compiled, with J. P. Gilson, the Catalogue of Western Manuscripts in the Old Royal and King's Collections (1921), a work that set new standards for scholarly MS description.
