British dancer. He trained at the Royal Ballet School and graduated into the company in 1994, where he was promoted to principal in 2005. An exceptionally supple, articulate dancer, he has performed most of the classical and heritage repertory but is most noted for performances in new works. He has created roles in Ashley Page's Sleeping with Audrey; Two Part Invention; Cheating, Lying, Stealing; Hidden Variables; and This House Will Burn, among others; in Wayne McGregor's Symbiont(s), Chroma, Qualia, Infra, and Acis and Galatea; in Will Tuckett's The Seven Deadly Sins; and in Wheeldon's Tryst, DGV, and Electric Counterpoint.
