Quick Reference

Obscure Cornish saint, eponym of the parish of Gwennap, also called in ancient deeds Lanwenep, i.e. the monastery of Wenep. The list of the children of Brychan in the Life of Nectan mentions one called Wynup, who has been identified unconvincingly with Wennap. His identity remains a mystery; there is no known feast.
